Here’s a brilliant video I saw on LinkedIn today. It’s made by Climate Science Breakthrough and features comedian Nish Kumar and climate scientist Dr Friederike Otto.
(The video contains some fruity language, be warned.)
The concept is simple: Climate Science Translated.
And it struck me that, at some level, this is doing precisely the job of copywriting.
Translating the complex, insider thoughts of the seller/expert into words the buyer/audience/public can get excited about.
Plus, I like me some thoughtful effing and jeffing on the subject of not continuing to exploit, degrade, and destroy the planet and everything on it for the sake of “profits.”
Also, if you want to learn how to identify services you can turn into sellable digital assets while applying a climate-first approach, I recommend signing up for Impact Lab’s Digital Asset Bootcamp.
It’s run by friend of the list, Danny Ruspandini, who is an exceedingly good egg.
Climactically,
James
P.S. I like to think that, as a homeschooling work-from-home family, every Friday is a Skolstrejk för klimatet around here 🙂
