Happy Canada Day!

Explosively,
James

P.S. The above photo is from when Kayte and I witnessed the glory of the Nagara River fireworks display in Gifu, Japan. (A city just North of Nagoya, where we lived from 2008-2011.) It’s held on the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August.

Two competing newspapers try to outdo each other with their own 30,000-firework show. Fireworks that go on so long that you actually have time to get bored, lol. (Worth it.)

P.P.S. No pics of this year’s Fredericton fireworks. When you’re this far North, and it’s just past the longest day, the sun sets so late that the city fireworks display can’t start until 10:40 pm!! Kind of a non-starter with young kids.
