What does your talent provide?

If you had to boil it down to one fundamental thing, what would you say? What does your talent provide?

I’ve been thinking about this post from friend of the list and fellow daily emailer Kevin Freidberg since before Christmas.

In it, he quotes Canadian actor and comedian Jim Carrey. (From his 2014 commencement speech at Maharishi University of Management.)

What does your audience need from you that your talent can provide? Mine is freedom from concern. ~ Jim Carrey

First of all, what a beautiful frame for an entertainer. “Freedom from concern.”

But then, I have to ask myself, what does my talent provide?

I haven’t nailed it down yet.

But it’s something around aligning your business with your true self. With being a more you version of you…something like that. Helping you bring more of your awesomeness into the way you meet the world.
