Have you figured out the ideal ratio for you?
I don’t have numbers, but I generally try to spend less time in the business, doing:
- Client work
- Accounting
- Updating WordPress plugins
- Invoicing
- Managing to-do lists
- Posting
- Fixing automations
- Putting up new pages
And more time on the business, doing:
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking
- Meeting interesting people
- Thinking
- Connecting
- Learning
- Planning
I plan to outsource almost the entire first list in time. And bask in the glory of the second. How about you? Did I miss anything? Do you think I’m out to lunch?
