Are you sometimes torn between two (or more) competing directions to take your business?

Have you ever just chosen not to choose?

Sometimes it feels like the better choice is to simply offer more. That way you’re being more generous, helping more people, and solving more problems.

But there’s a very real chance you’re actually doing the opposite.

In business, as in life, when you spread yourself too thin you often end up giving nobody (including yourself) what they actually want.

You end up chasing two rabbits (or more) and catching none.

Or, as an agency owner I was talking to today said about one of their client’s overabundant offerings, “Are they gonna mow my lawn too?”

It’s hard to get behind, because of its inherent contradiction, but the best way to do more is to do less.

Help a smaller group, with a more specific problem, but do it really well.

Keep it tight,
James
