That’s the title of doctor-turned-YouTuber/entrepreneur Ali Abdaal’s upcoming first book.

Feel-good productivity.

Who wouldn’t want that?

I’ve followed Ali casually for years and always enjoy his videos and content. (He’s the reason I got my first mechanical keyboard 🙂

It’s been fun to watch his rise to prominence and track the evolution of his production quality and style. It’s also been fun to watch other people I follow connect with and reference him more and more often.

So when Nick Milo (whose Linking Your Thinking content put me onto Obsidian) announced he was launching a podcast called How I Think—with Ali as his first guest—I was in!

Ali talked about his new book with such enthusiasm and passion that I knew I was going to read it (and likely love it).

Yes, this is a topic that’s been well and truly covered.

Yet I trust in Ali’s claim that it’s not just a re-hashing of things (he’s read all those books too, he knows). And I love that the main point of differentiation is that the productivity feels good.

He also set about making “the best book website ever,” which, well, you can judge for yourself, but he may have done it.

Feeling good about this,
James

P.S. Pre-orders get you into a Jan 6 Feel-Good Productivity Annual Planning Workshop with Ali, plus some extra bonuses. (The book ships in late December.) Maybe I’ll see you there?
