If you’ve got something new you’re itching to try but are waiting until you’re confident it will be a success, please stop.

That is, please stop waiting until you’re confident it will be a success.

Confidence comes second.

Trying the new thing has to come first.

If you wait for the confidence, you’ll never try the thing.

(Because you can’t get the confidence without trying the thing.)
