Note: I recognize the absurdity of the “affiliate link” game—and never have and don’t ever plan on pursuing it as a serious endeavour. That said, I’m surprised at how much fun this experiment has been.
The thing that makes it work (for me) is how much of a win-win-win-(win) it is:
- You get off-the-cuff brilliance from one of Canada’s greatest writers
- Margaret gets to reach more people with said brilliance
- All proceeds go to support the Pelee Island Bird Observatory
- I get the joy of knowing Margaret Atwood knows my name (at last!)
