Have you ever tried to make a big change in your life? If so, you might have noticed this too:
100% is easy, 99% is hard.
When you go all-in at 100%, all the decision-making is already done. It’s easy.
When you leave even 1% undecided, everything is hard.
This is true if there’s even the slightest ambiguity around whether or not you will or can do the thing this time. (Go to the gym, take that drink, contact those 10 prospects, write that daily piece.)
All in,
James
P.S. Hat tip to friend and friend of the list Chris Justin for saying this great phrase to me on a call today. Can’t stop thinking about it!
