If you’re a solopreneur or small business founder looking for a high-efficiency, multi-use business-building activity, I can’t think of anything better than writing a daily* email.

I’m biased. But hear me out 🙂

Every email you write is, can be, or can turn into:

  • A blog post (if you keep a public archive)
  • A social media post (or many posts)
  • A video or podcast (read it, riff on it)
  • An opportunity for direct feedback (just ask)
  • A place to develop and track your thoughts
  • An opportunity to sell (like in the PS, say)
  • A display of your multi-faceted nature
  • A chance for people to know, like, and trust you
  • An asset to get more people to sign up (upward spiral)
  • A copy/paste answer to prospect questions
  • Messaging to put on your website
  • A reinforcement of a good writing and shipping habit
  • Something to offer prospects who aren’t ready to buy

What else can do all that?

P.S. I don’t know when it runs next, but I can’t not link to Jonathan Stark’s excellent Email365 workshop, which is what started all this for me.

*Or “regular” (like weekly, at least).
