Me neither.
But I had to see as soon as I found out!
Caveat: while I’m aware he’s been in politics, I don’t know much about it. To me, an Xennial (a topic for another day), he’s The Terminator, and that guy in Predator—he’s Danny DeVito’s Twin.
Moving on.
So, yeah, The Terminator uses ConvertKit.
This feels symbolic of the much-lauded decentralization of publishing. And the attendant removal of gatekeepers.
But that’s not even why I’m writing this.
No. I’m writing about it because of his excellent onboarding!
After you signed up for One Creative Moment, you had to click a button in an email, confirming your wish to subscribe (and thanks for that!).
Clicking sent you to a page that said (something like), “Confirmed! Great emails are coming your way.”
Well, here’s what that email looked like from Arnie:

It’s short, it’s personal, it’s got a signature, it’s got the word “pump” in it. Check, check, check, and check.
But it’s the “…and you’ll get an e-book” that has me so pumped.
It’s not even a confirmation anymore, it’s a surprise gift.
It doesn’t go to a generic confirmation page. It goes to a humbly-written 13-page pdf with different workouts and a recipe and all sorts.
Most impressive. And hopefully as inspiring for your ventures as it is for mine.
