Some things get better and better until they’re good enough.

And if you pursue them beyond that, it’s probably worth examining your reasons.

It may be that you’re committed to reaching a certain level of service or outcome. Or that you derive great personal joy and life satisfaction in moving the needle as far as you possibly can.

In which case, you’re likely on the right track.

Or it may be that you’ve lost sight of what matters. Or never clearly defined success in the first place. In which case, a good healthy dose of introspection might be just what you need to cut yourself some slack.

On the other hand, some things are only good enough when they’re perfect.
