Perfectionism is a trap fed by a myth.

As far as I can see it, this is, by now, an established truth—or understanding, if “truth” is a bit too absolutist.

A “go, go, go” type of email from the Brainstorm Road community captured a framing for how to think about this so beautifully today.

(What is Brainstorm Road? A “paid social network for finishing your dream project.” I joined early, in the first cohort, and fell off the wagon so quickly it’s semi-laughable.)

Here’s the line:

“We are never done with the work; we just pick a place to stop.”

Like this,
James

P.S. Pair today’s subject line with the Pomplamoose version of Daft Punk’s Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.
