Are you up to your eyeballs in tech bros telling you how not “getting on” AI now means you’re being left behind?
Or that not spending 2 hours a day learning how to use ChatGPT means you’re “doing it wrong”?
Because I am. And I sure hope it’s a phase. (Not AI, the bro-ery.)
Yet at the same time, I still want to make some sense of the possibilities and changes that lie ahead.
So what to do? Where to go?
As it’s Tactical Tuesday, I thought I’d share some pleasant and digestible sources of AI wisdom.
First, friend of the list Rowan Price’s very thorough 21 ways generative AI will change marketing. A great source of big-picture thinking about marketing-specific changes and their effects.
Next, two posts from Ethan Mollick’s (excellently named 🙂 One Useful Thing:
- Onboarding your AI Intern – A look at the categories of tasks an AI can do for you and how to think about AI in human terms.
- How to Use AI To Do Stuff: An Opinionated Guide – A very practical breakdown of what you can actually use AI for right now
And finally, a rousing episode of The Business of Authority where friend of the list Jonathan Stark and co-host Rochelle Moulton make the case for giving AI a try right now.
Non-bro-ishly,
James
